2012 marks the 24th annual Macau International Fireworks Display Contest.

Macau is one of the top tourist destinations in Asia because of the building developments going on in the city. Every week, two competing teams will showcase their fireworks show on the same night until the last day October one which is a Macau holiday. The competition features some of the best teams in the world when it comes to making a fireworks show and there have been many different countries that have participated in this event.
